Blackberry is back......with the Storm

Hi
I recently came across Blackberry's new offering, Blackberry Storm, which comes as another offering in the 'i-Phone killer' range, after HTC G1. Blackberry Storm doesnt have any keys on its body, it just has a software keypad just like HTC Touch. Running on Windows Mobile, it offers a pleothra of features . Although the keypad storm offers is one of the best of their kind, but i still find it to be damn slow when compared for real keypad. The processing speed that we found was satisfactory, but we would have liked the phone to be more quick in responses. The phone comes with a new feature called ' Accelerometer' . With this feature, users can rotate the screen automatically with the handling orientation of the phone. With this, users can also play interactive games like bowling just like they might have used to play with Nintendo Wii. The 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm , 155 g weighing phone sports a 360 x 480 pixels, 3.25 inches 65K colors TFT touchscreen. It also sports a 3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, autofocus, camera with video, and flash . It also carries built-in GPS. Here's what i found some Storm users speaking on some sites

"i feel ur pain~~this is not good~~i bought it to work with me( as the 8310 i had), but this "thing" keep disappointing me, im gonna return it too~~"

"I hate Blackberrys :) And this one has no WIFI, in 2008, almost 2009 a phone without WIFI sucks!! I prefer SE."

The phone doesnt bundle Wi-Fi services. A phone in this segment is just aint worth it without Wi-Fi in it, which is nowadays available in many lower business phones.

Indians...with Hip-Hop

On the 23rd Nov 08, around 8-9pm IST, i was watching VH1's show 'VH1 Playlist'. This time, it showed some 'Neha's playlist. To my amaze , i find that that playlist to be my playlist.
My playlist mainly consists of Hip-Hop and RnB. Indian girls love pop instead of such rapper stuff. Watching this, i just can say this.

When the hell Indian gals started loving Hip-Hop ??!!

India Under Attack.......again

26th November 2008, 21:20 hrs IST
It is at this time that India witnessed the biggest attack on it till date. Millitants coming from the sea infriltrate the monumental Taj Palace, Hotel Oberoi-Trident, and Nariman House - A transit home for the Israelis. They kill 150+ lives and 300+ get injured. Security forces take 59 hours to stop this nuisance, after millions of rupees lost, and a couple of hundred lives lost while they were attending marriage receptions or just habving their dinner. Its a bit late , but still have to say that i strongly condemn this attack, and favour the killing of the millitants who do such devilish actions. Grenedes from 'Pakistan Ordinance Factory' are found with the terrorists. Also found are automated firing weapons like AK47,AK56, and also some Chinese grenedes are found. All terrorists are from Pakistani origin. Captured terrorists are from Multan - a province n Pakistan. All this proves what India has been saying for years now - 'Pakistan is the base command for Indian terrorism'. Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI is found to be involved in the attack, along with Lashkar-e-Taiyaba,and Dawood Ibrahim's network.

I dont understand why do these millitants do this *ssholeness. Why cant all this bloodshed stop. I say that this so called 'Jehad' is bullshit, and Jehadis are devils, who should be killed at sight, along with anyone who supports them. Karachi should be wiped off this planet. That city is the terror capital of the world. Its high time that the G5 nations realise that its the world vs Pak terror, as pak is now the hub of international terror. Even the 9/11,London blasts, Indian Parliment attack, and now 26/11 attacks have Pakistanis involved. What more proof do we need to know that pakistan , a nation headed by an insane called 'Gilani' is the leader in world instability. And for the record, even Pakistani courts and hospitals have declaerd Mr Gilani as "insane" and "mentally unfit".

Muslims should spread awareness for education and careers so that all this mayhem stops. All this shit is just tarnishing their image as a religion, and insulting Mohammad the great prophet.

The whole UPA cabinet should resign, with Mr Shivraj Patil, the home minister(or what i'd say, the 'shame' minister) first, later followed by Sonia Gandhi Mr Manmohan Singh, our nation's weakest PM till date, Sriprakash Jaiswal , and the 'reserver' Arjun Singh. Why doesnt Sonia now condemn these attacks, she's always the first one to condemn if it happens in a small mosque. Why doesnt Arjun Singh come in front of the media now?? Why doesnt Amar singh call these terrorists ' victims' just the way he called the Delhi bombers encountered at Batla House,Jamia Nagar ?? Why isnt he donating to these terrorists? Why doesnt Raj Thackrey do Marathi politics now? Why doesnt he now say that the NSG commandos are non marathi's ?? Shouldnt these politicians be classified as "traitors" or "criminals" instead of "elected public servants" ?? All of them are a shame for the nation. Shame on you Indian politicians, you dont even deserve the litterbin, forget the official posts. It is only because of you jerks that we Indians have to suffer.

This goes out for the extremists
"Fuck Jehad, and Fuck you Jehadis"

And for Pak, who'se been trying to disintegrate India, listen to this clearly. An Indian says out to all of you.
" Kashmir was,is, and will be ours. We've had enough, we've said this over a million times, dont push us to the limit. Now stop this crap or you'll even lose Islamabad one day "

And finally, i gave my salute to all those, who in course of time, gave the supreme sacrifice to the nation - to the martyrs of this battle against terrorism. May the mighty Lord give enough strength to their families to cope with the hard times they're facing. A mention of the great martyrs of Mumbai , who gave their lives to protect the integrety of the nation.
Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan National Security Guard
Gajendra Singh National Security Guard
Hemant Karkare Chief, Maharashtra State Anti-Terrorist Squad

Martyrs, Rest In Peace ! We're proud of you ! You're our National Heritage in true sense !

Death misses once again

November 17th, 2008 , 18:17hrs IST
I escape death again. I escaped death for the 4th time, but with comparatively lesser damages as compared to the previous ones.
I was crossing the outer ring road,at the Panchsheel Park Bus Stop. There is a around 3feet high and a couple of feet wide divider which seperates the lanes. From my lane, i climbed up that lane(as i do everyday). As i took a step furthur on the divider, and landed my foot on the other edge of the divider. I was wearing my new shoes, as i had a speech to give in one of the labs. I tripped off, and fell on the other lane , where every vehicle was running at speeds more than 50kmph. I landed straight on the road, where a Maruti Zen immediately missed hitting me on my head. If it had, my head would have been completely crushed. I could hear the brakes of that car very clearly, just as i could see the alloy wheels of the car very clearly shining like it was laughing at me. I'd say that i was just some inches short of my death. If my head would have been a few inches above the level it was(which was next to ground), i would have collided with the bumper of the car, and woud have died on the spot for sure. If the car was a couple of inches nearer to me, my head would have come beneath the right front tyre of the car(which carries a major portion of the car's weight) and would have smashed completely. I had escaped death thrice so closely, and this was the fourth time, so wasn't much scared of dying(but have to admit, it did really shook me badly for a few seconds). As the car went, i stood back on my feet, and took support of the divider, from where i fell off realising what had happened. My left foot(near the toe), my right palm(which had suffered a severe cut a couple of years back, another one of those incidents when i escaped death, the wound went just over a vein, my vein just missed the cut), and my right arm(near the elbow) have been bruised, and are aching right now, as i compile this message back at home, an hour after this incident had occured.

I haven't yet told anyone in my family about it, as they'll get too scared....! Those who know me very well, only they'll realise how much good is it to survive death without much aftermaths.

Have to say, if you know whats luck, ask me ! I escape death once every year, if not less. I need more luck for my survival .

Signing off to rest after this close brush with death.

Seriouys session flaw in powerscrap

Hi
I recently found a very serious flaw in the popular social networking site aggregator powerscrap, or rebranded now as power. The site poses a serious threat to the personal information of all users who use this site. Whenever you log off the site, it means that you can no longer use that service without again authenticating with the site. But this site allows you to do that, which is great for datathiefs. For example, if i have clicked on 'log off', and the site shows that i have been logged off, then if i click on the 'back' button on the toolbar, i can easily surf those sites, without any authentication. This flaw shows hopw the programmers at power are very weak, as they have aggregated four famous social networking sites ie facebook,hi, orkut and myspace on their list, and if anyone is signing in from that site, it means that the user is compromising the security of his account. Any novice hacker, who knows how to trap data can get the url of his session and keep on using it whenever he wants to. For users like me , for whom an id can mean a whole identity, it is very serious. Using such sites can means compromising on a lot of security issues.

Hope the guys at Power discover and fix this flaw.

Crome aint good

Last year in June, i reviewed on Safari for Windows. I had said then only that it wasnt a great browser, but something good for a change.
Google's recently launched browser 'Chrome' also comes in that league.....except to the fact that it needs a hell of changes to be adecent browser. Its too sluggish, takes a hell of time to install, and the panels are toocongested. Also, the meta-tag assistance embedded with the adress bar is just a waste of cpu power. I personally feel that this browser, in its current avtar isn't going to survive much in the current day internet, where pages are getting more heavier to process and load, and need lots of plugins. Moreover, most of the pc's used worldwide aren't the latest ones, and so new browsers are difficult to operate on them. Till now, i only find Opera(who at a whopping 20mb+ total occupied space) is the best browser. Its virus free, hassle free, quick, reliable, and error free. Plus, it has all the great features that Firefox throttles(although the removal of the tab scrolling through numpad, my most fav feature in that package was absent in the last version).

Hey you guys at Google, are you listening??

Some Interesting Sites

Hi

I found a few more interesting links on the net , and am happy to share them with you. Here they are

www.swaghousemedia.com

The home of the campaign "Paris for President" . The site takes a laugh at the recent US election scenario.

www.willitblend.com

Another hillarious site for you. These guys just love blending, and blend everything from neon rods to a brand new iPhone(yup, these guys blended the iPhone as soon as it was launched last year).

www.radioreloaded.com

While searching for a hindi soundtrack, which was not even on the movie's audio cd, i found it on this site, and also lots of other albums which i had been looking for. I'd call this site ' The Mecca' for all Bollywood music fans.

www.gsmarena.com

Another site which i found online while searching for cellphones. This site keeps reviewing all the latest handsets launched out by various manufacturers at their labs, with their smallest detail, in a ordered tabular form. It also shows what other users for this site think about the product.

Hope you people like and enjoy these sites

Some Lines I Simply Adore

Those flashing lights come from everywhere
The way they hit her I had to stop and stare
She's got me love stoned
I think I'm love stoned
She's got me love stoned

I think that she knows, think that she knows, oh, oh [repeat 2 more times]

Those flashing lights come from everywhere
The way they hit her I had to stop and stare
I'm love stoned from everywhere and she knows
I think that she knows
Think that she knows, oh, oh

And now I walk around without a care
She's got me hooked
It just ain't fair, but I...
I'm love stoned and I could swear
That she knows
Think that she knows, oh, oh
She knows, she knows, oh, oh

Justin......man, you got the point !

Fashion....its all good

Hi
Sorry first of all to all of you, as i had composed this entry a week back, but got time to publish it now only. It was all because of my busy scedule.
I went to see Madhur Bhandarkar's new offering "Fashion". The reality director has really came up with another great movie. The movie showcases the problems newcomers have to face in this modelling industry. Priyanka Chopra plays the newcomer, whereas Kangana plays an established supermodel, who dies at the end due to drug overdose. The movie shows how Priyanka struggles her way to the top, falls down, and again rises. I wont go much deep into the movie. I'd like you people to watch this movie, and rate it. I give it a 7/10.
Do you think the same?? I'll be pleased to hear from you.

A Question

Whenever i feel like everything's fine, everything gets crashed, an i have to start from the beginning. I'd like to ask fate why does this happen to me everytime!
The reason for the moment , is unknown !

A Confession

I have to confess finally. Jay Sean seems to speak up my story. Both his albums, Me against Myself and My Own Way seem to have the same story as of my life.

Just Thinking.....

Love is like a free bird
Leave it free
If it comes back, it is yours
If it doesnt, it never was !

Wondering if its true ??

Bush....On The Rocks !

Hello
I actually came across this article, and just cant stop myself from jotting it down here on the blog. As president George W. Bush hangs his boots as the President of United States in January, and starts preparing for it with Obama getting elected, there are still reasons to remember him(reasons which exclude Iraq war,Afghan war, 9/11, and financial crisis). Reasons, that make him an entertainer at par - his bloopers. Here is the compilation of his biggest yet funniest bloopers.

10) "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream"
October 18,2008

9) "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family"
January 27,2000

8) "I hear there's rumour on the internets that were going to have a draft"
October 8,2004

7) "I know the human being jand fish can exist peacefully"
September 29,2000

6) "You work three jobs?...Uniquely American, isn't it ? I mean, that is fantastic you're doing that"
To a divorced mother of three on Feburary 4,2005

5) "Too many good docs are getting out of the business, too many ob-gyns aren't able to practise their love with women all across this country"
September 6,2004

4) "All of us in America want there to be fairness when it comes to justice"
September 20,2007

3) "Rarely is the question asked : is our child learning? "

2) "Our enemies are innovative, and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we"
August 5,2004

1) "I dont particularly like it when people put words in my mouth either by the way, unless i say it"

Well, have to say, this Dubyaman guy is just awsome, he should take up standup comedy as his next profession !

Dedication

This post is for someone , who's going to be out of contact with me for sometime. Here it goes...

You came in my life
with yo eyes full of glitter
in the season of chill
when the birds love to twitter
just to go away somewhere someday

Thats brought a turbulence
inside ma quiet head
and took away all the peace
just d way spring leaves shed

an year later you reappear
and time, deep in my life
and make it a confy ride
from a rash journey

you came as a breath
of morning fresh air
and reincarnated me
just like the autumn fair

a smile on your face
is all that i'd need
to recover from bruises
and wounds ma heart bleed

you shadow overcomes this world
and completes mine
n what i realise is that
youre d one truly divine

talkin to you
is what drives me
and its what
makin ma life chained melody

first time we went out
i was there,without a doubt
ma sunglasses on and ma luck strong
wanted that time to forever hold on

would have loved to be lost
at at an island ,only u n me
and remain there forever
to be untracable by man n technology

one day we decide
to put a stop, put all over
and you'll be out of ma life
like grass from ground after mower

and now when its time
to leave you and go apart
the only thing i hear
is what beats ma heart
it says
Goodbye my dear
It aint gonna be foreva
When we meet next
our seperation wont continue till eternity, never !
