How should be a perfect breakfast

Hi
This is one of the biographic posts i'm writing on this blog. I had been experimenting for years for the ideal breakfast. Breakfast, as they say, is the most important meal of the day, as it sets you going for the rest of the day. I firmly believe that having oily or burgers for breakfast is suicidal for the day(unless you cant afford anything else......or nothing's else's available).

Well, i found out the perfect breakfast menu. I had the following in my breakfast

A plate of fruit salad
A Sandwitch(i tried out jam along with it, you can try some spread along with it)
A plate of noodles(specifically speaking.....maggi)
A can of Red Bull(to get everything to be digested quickly)
A glass of Lemonade (after half an hour........for getting the extra spark inside me to stand all that heat in these Indian summers).

What do you say about it, hows this breakfast menu?? What all can you suggest me to add in his menu to make it more better ?
Hoping to listen from you people soon.

I-Phone sux in India

Hi
According to what i've heard from my friends who've bought Apple's much hyped 'I-Phone' , they say it was a complete waste of their money. The I-Phone sld in India by Airtel and Vodafone are locked , which means anyone who buys these phones cannot change their operator. Also , these i-phones also cannot connect via bluetooth to other bluetooth devices except other i-phones. This means that the users of such phones can only exchange data from other i-phone users. Also, the data connection charges are somewhat high, with Vodafone charging 5p/10kb(only checking the mail would empty our pockets, forget about google maps or gps services).

Hip-Hop - Is it a thing of the past??

Thats the question that i've been asking to myself these days. Are the days of Hip-Hop over? Has the fire for Rap extinguished? Has the R&B\Hip-Hop-Rap era over??

Frankly speaking, music these days has been inflated by rock(and that also some senseless rock). Music these days has gone terrible. There are artists like Scott Stapp singing something(something because i just couldnt make sense of what he shouts). Even if it were superb bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Green Day, or even InXS, i would have certainly been happy. But such artists have taken down the name of rock , and most importantly, has damaged a lot to the ongoing music trend, which was dominated by Hip-Hop. I still remember that something around 2003, i had heard some of the best music that i've heard till date. 2003 was what i'd call " Historical Year of Brilliant music". 50cent,Usher,Eminem,Nelly, and others took the world music scenario to a whole new level. Pubs and discs were places where you couyld have heard tracks like Usher's 'Yeah' being played 24x7(and still then people wouldn't get bored of it, even to the presemt date). That year also saw artists like Janet Jackson had took up RnB. It also brought some awsome historical artists like Norah Jones. Bands like Nickelback, U2, Bon Jovi returned to create great record-breaking music. Thats also the year i heard Robbie Williams, an artist i shall always listen to for his great album "Escapology". 'The Eminem Show' had created waves, which can even now be felt easily in the industry's new productions. Although many of the tracks and artists mentioned here didn't have any sort of relationship with Hip-Hop, but it cannot be denied that Hip-Hop was the main source for creating the perfect environment for creation of great timeless music. Same was in 1990's during the time of rise of Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tupac Shakur. When 2Pac had released California Love in 1996, we had got some of the best music that we've had heard of. Some of my all time fav's are from that time zone only. Both these artists, only on their old school style and name, sell more than what Timbaland or Daddee Yankee sell out with their new upbeat albums. Artists like Justin Timberlake, better known for pop, entered in this genre, and created a few classy tracks(which shall remain in my playlist for a long long time). I personally prefer listening to 'Tha Blue Carpet Treatment" more than "Escape". Even artists like Mobb Deep, who weren't much popular in 1990's got recognition in this era with tracks like "Have a Party"(which had once become a part of discs) and "My Band".

This era has also seen performers like Timbaland, who ,while attempting to become a second Hip-Hop Kingpin "Dr Dre" , has led to promotion of Rock(and know what, he's failed in becoming a kingpin too, even though he's a commercial success).

Looking at al this , i think that this era hasn't yet completed its span. There are a few more great rap anthems to be composed and sung, before this era comes to an end. Kayne West's album "Graduation" makes me feel so . I still believe that hip-hop can still emerge as the ultimate power in music industry. I feel that there is only Hip-Hop/R&B?Rap which can control Rock. Hope some of you(and not all) would agree with me.
Do wite down and share what you think about this subject! Is the era over?

God Tussi Great Ho Suxx !

Yup, God Tussi Great Ho suxx. Thats whats one of my friends(who hasn't left a movie in the last three years has told me, and he's always been right in his predictions). He told me that the movie was a mix of some triangular love story and Bruce Almighty .
Well, if thats true, i won't like to watch it, what about you!

Goody's Back........but in the Boss

Yup, you read it right.
Jade Goody, who was criticised for her racist remarks on Shilpa Shetty, will now participate in the "Big Brother"s Indian version "Big Boss" which starts airing on Viacom's Indian channel 'Colors' , hosted by Shilpa herself.
Wtf !
Is Jade Goody Shameless......or she's trying to prove she ain't a racist, that only time will tell.
Seems like Goody wants more of insult, maybe because she can't get enough of it ...... or she's gone psyco ! But one thing's for sure, it aint gonna be a goody experience for her.

I-Day Note

Today, on the 62nd Indian Independence Day, i congratulate all Indians spread throughout the world. It really feels good on this day when we look at the small but very important achievements Indians do for their nation. When facts like "Majority of staff in NASA are Indians" , "Indian kids outshine everyone in NASA's space settlement ddesign competition" , and "US cannot do without India" come across me, i find myself very proud to be a part of this ancient primary civilization. Hundred years back, Mahatma Gandhi had once said that once India has been freed, within the next fifty years, the British would have lost control of all their colonies, and know what , in 1992, with the creation of South Africa, he became correct(and India completed its 50th year of Independence in 1997). Such a powerful force India is !
And a special mention on this day to the defence forces. I salute the third largest army in the world for their struggle to preserve the Indian integrity and sovergnity . Their spirit and struggle can be seen easily in this really inspiring clip.

A Lappy Repair Experience

Yesterday, i went to Asia's biggest computer market, Nehru Place , situated in New Delhi, India. My laptop had charging problems, hence i needed to go there to get it fixed. Initially, i went to the guy who checks out my pc. He said that the charger adapter was damaged and i had to buy a new one. Then i went to a specialist in laptops(as mentioned on the display board). He said that the charging port of the laptop, as well as the adapter were damaged, and both had to be repaired. In cas i only get the adapter changed, and not repairing the port, the charging point would get moulded and get stuck with the lappy's charging point. I decided to show the laptop to some more people who had the board of "laptop repair" mentioned on their boards. I refered them the same that the first laptop repair guy had said, and all the other people said that the lappy would work good and wouldnt give problems. I acted as the majority suggested and purchased a chinese adapter for Rs 650 from one of the shops.

While writing this blog, the new adapter's point has melted with the lappy, and now the lappy is a hazard to use. Its been 15mins now since i noticed this tragedy has happened to me. I had to hussle around for around 5hours just to find that the technicians have messed up the whole matter. Within less than 6hours of me returning back to home after a hectic day,i find that all the stupid technicians at nehru place did mess up the matter. Now i have to spend something around Rs1500 , one complete day, and even then my lappy might not be in top notch condition. I'd suggest all of you that you should take your precious laptop computer only to the company authorised service centre for getting them upgraded , or fixed. Desktops can be taken to such individual technicians, but laptops should never be taken to such people, after all they just might make the deal a hell costlier for you.

Death match in AoE2 Over !

During my vacations, i had started playing Age Of Empires 2 ten days back, and am happy to say that i've completed all the death matches, in all levels. U, being more of a geek, and a least probable gamer, am excited being completing such a game in so little time span.
I'm very happy today ;)

Drink Review - Battery

Hi
I recently had tried out another energy drink, called 'Battery'. The name seemed more clumsy , rather than interesting, because the car battery does spit out acid when its life is over. Moreover. a battery gets discharged if its not used for a long time(Now i wonder what were those guys thinking while naming that thing).
Well, getting started with the real thing, i'll first start with the looks. The can looks more like a beer can, rather than an energy drink can(primarily because its big, usually the energy drink cans are slim and small). The can hasa shiny silver color on it, with the product's name written clearly on it. The can also states that the drink should be avoided before sleeping(something, that i would have liked to know earlier).

The can contains 330ml of the drink, something that the other energy drink labels aren't able to provide that this price(Rs70 in India or something around US$ 1.5).

Well, i was trying this thing at morning, along with the breakfast, and while i guzzled up the whole thing, i found it to be much better than the most of the 'Red Bull' alternatives(even though nothing is as good as the bull) ! The content being 330ml(rather than the 250ml of red bull), just got me up do get along the hectic day ahead. So it gets a 5 star for working upto the mark.
Overall, o'd rather give it a 4 out of 5, for doing everything, as well as red bull(if not better).

Vodafone goes tactical

Hii
The last time i was coming from Jaipur to my place at New Delhi,i found out something about Indian telecom companies - they have stupid company policies . On my Vodafone connection(Out of the two connections, the other one is Airtel) , when i was roaming in Haryana telecom circle, i recieved the following message -

"Roaming Tariffs Slashed. Now recieve incoming calls at Re1/min, make outgoing STD calls @ Rs1.5/min and local outgoing @ Re1/min (NOT APPLICABLE ON CALLS ON AIRTEL NETWORK) !!

WTF ???

When i enquired the Vodafone consumer care, they told that it was some company policy. WTF?? Is Vodafone trying to get an edge over Airtel by doing such stupid policies. Well, it surely wont help them much over the fact that they dont have their network present in many states here in India.

While Airtel has no such policy till what i know at the moment.

Have to say, telecom in India still needs a hell of improvement.

Current - The Energy Drink......A Review

Hii

Its good to be writing back. I just tried out a new energy drink, called Current. I found it at the neary american dollar 99 store for Rs75 a can. Its packing looked like any other drink, but the graphics on the can made me feel like the drink was meant only for drinking with alcohol . It was a slim, weak can which might have bursted if it had fell from my hands.

Well,After i bought it, i opened the can , and guzzled it slowly, to check whether it really gave some current ot not. Well, i found it to be the weakest possible energy drink thaty i've ever tried, it was much weaker than power horse. For all those of you who're an enthusiast about energy drinks, i'd rather say "avoid this drink". i'd give a mere 1.5 ot of 5 to this drink.

Hope some of you who have tried out this might have the same opinion. Please feel free to share your views here. All comments are welcomed.

Media's Mayhem...........need a break from it !!

These days media has gone nuts or so. Recently i found the cover page of a leading newspaper having an article on "Salman's new hairstyle" !! Wtf !! Is it really that important for the nation????
On Radio Mirchi, eveyday some stupid guy named "Sudd" (Or something like that) comes and blares out his dum jokes, All that crap makes me irritated and angered instead of happier.

Seems like media has gone mad these days. Channels like IBN7 show the same documentry after one year , under a new name. Some of their news specials are damn ridiculous to watch.
Well, i've got some more bad experience to share.
A few days back,i just was surfin through the channels when i found this channel 9x showing some epic show. On watching the show, it seemed that the director was nuts. The storyline was crap. And to my amaze, one of the characters was looking a drunk jerk, instead of looking like a saint that he was playing. Later i found out that the show was the 'crap' queen "Ekta Kapoor"'s "Kahaaani Hamaaray Mahhabhaarat Kii" !
Damn, writing the name of the show freaks me out, Ekta Kapoor, you suck bigtime !! We already hate your "Kkk" shows, your 'Balaji Entertainment Ltd', dont u get sick of your own bakwaas !!0

Just stop producing all this crap. We want some entertainment. Are you listening thy media??
